Counterfire has been central to efforts to build working-class struggle through mass movements of resistance, as well as the revolutionary pole elaborating a Marxist analysis within the movements.

The Marxist Review represents our attempt to respond to the big questions posed by contemporary capitalism and will seek to develop a strand of Marxist thought that remains rooted in working-class struggle.
 
We hope The Marxist Review will be a seedbed for the development of Marxist thought that can revitalise the revolutionary left.
